Hi, This post is for the Mac users (I use OSX Leopard) to share information on how I got this great post to work....
1. Dowload the 4 files (duh)
2. OSX doesn't recognize the file, because it's some kind of zip format file. I downloaded a program called 'untar' from www.download.com to take care of this
3. Start Untar, and select the 4 Ableton files (so repeat it 4 times). You will see the ISO files appearing (default it unpacks in the same directory as the original zipfile)
4. 'Mount' the first 'dvd' (ISO) by double-clicking it, the contents of the ISO should appear.
5. Click the Ableton icon (install) and select a directory in the wizard. I chose to install it on my external firewire drive (didn't test it any other way)

6. After the installer is done, the program is basically ready to go, but you still lack all the goodies.On the first CD, you also have a couple of 'packs' (in a directory). Start Ableton, and set the location of your library in the preferences menu (Ionce again chose my firewire drive, specifically a location within my Ableton folder)
7. Drag the contents of the packs of the first CD into the Ableton program (which is running), so NOT drag them into a folder!!! Ableton takes a while to install these packs, so go make some tea....
8. After Ableton finishes these packs, you can click on the 2nd ISO and drag those packs into the running program (repeat with all CD's / packs)
9. You are done and ready to rock'n roll / dance / hip hop or whatever suits you best....
Ableton never asked me for a key, code or whatever authentication and it works just great....

wend i install the same thing append to me...
but i test and i still use this version and itīs working great, of course i dont use all the samples yet, but tell me if someting is not working...
by the way iīm testing the new version A.L. v8..
for now is working great but i dont finish the test and i have to up CD4 of this version first.. |

it installed new installation after uninstaling the other version i had and then used ccleaner to delete any traces from the registry and everything was ok loaded up, started using it as i normally would do with the older version a message appears at the bottom in a orange banner saying some samples are missing then shortly after i get a message saying a security violation has been detected and it shuts down the program and loads the ableton site  just thought it could be me |

yes itīs allready cracked!!!
clean install would good but i have installed 7.0.3 and i install this new one without clean install and workīs for me....
