===========
Suppose you dual boot Windows and Linux on your computer.
A problem on the Windows makes you repair the Windows installation using the Windows disk. This repairs the bootloader without doubt and eliminates any boot info of the linux, considering it to be foreign.
(I had this problem). Super Grub Disk helps repair Linux boot problems.
Just simple booting into the Super Grub Disk repairs most grub/boot problems. There is a help file inside the iso which can be accessed after the bootup.
It can be used to fix MBRs and also the bootloader of Windows.
Super Grub Disk is also a teaching tool to help you learn more about bootloaders and the booting process. After all, booting is the most important thing your computer does -- without the boot process, you would not have an operating system to use!
INSTRUCTION
===========
This is an image file(.iso).
Burn the image, and boot into it.
To boot into the CD, put it into the drive and restart the computer. There is a boot sequence editor in the BIOS. For laptops the CD drive will be checked first for any bootable disk. Desktop users might need to change the boot sequence to CD first to boot into CD. The first screen after the comp powers on lets you into BIOS editor when you press DEL button, from there we can get into the Boot Sequence editor. Change to CD first. Then 'Save and Exit'.
Restart the system.
For more info on boot up sequence, use this link - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=opera&rls=en&hs=dGP&q=edit+boot+sequence&btnG=Search
Use softwares like gburner, Isobuster, Nero etc.
I would recommend the gburner as i've used the other 2 - Nero and Isobuster and found it very easy to use and at the same time has the most features.
Good Luck!!!
