| Can't start a campaign? You can get to the difficulty setting but nothing happens when you click it? Go into your firewall settings and block the CoDWaW.exe from using your internet. It will search for a connection when you run the game and eventually give up after ~15s. You should now be able to run a SP campaign |

anyone with this error on xp(see below). disable 'unimodem half-duplex audio device' in the device manager and itll work fine.
seems like CoD5 was trying to you the modem speaker to run the audio in the game...

the instructions are wrong but you will find correct instructions in the torrent
the instructions in the torrent are wrong when they say install to D: drive. do install the game to your C: drive (the drive with your operating system)
any problems then see this link, it is a long read but i guarantee it contains information that worked for me on vista 64. if your problem is the solo game doesnt start after seclecting difficulty then look for the member named "Tom"
