Jex Thoth (formerly Totem) use a formula that stays true to the roots of Heavy Rock music, they just do things their very own way and with their very own vibe, adding Hammond organ to the down tuned guitars and punishing drums while throwing in psychedelic and spaced out elements in a completely non-contrived fashion.

All is topped of, or rather, built around the truly otherworldly vocals of Jex Thoth. There’s a sense of American nativity and serenity in Totem’s music, an earthiness and brooding dark beauty we dare say we never have encountered in this musical form before
