The topic coverage in this book is good and supports the claim of "100 percent
coverage" as stamped on the cover of the book. There is concise coverage of
relevant command line tools; "real sys admins" know how to use command line
tools. The book contains 19 assessment quizes, each quiz having 20 questions;
each chapter of topic coverage has a quiz. The assessment quizes are good review
material. I think about 5 percent of the questions, about 1 in every quiz, had
sentence structure problems or missing words that confused the actual answer.
Each chapter usually has 1 or more "scenario" questions at the end to provoke
your thinking. The book ends with a comprehensive practice test. If you are
completely new to Linux, this book is not for you. If you have installed Linux a
few times and used the operating system from the command line for 6 months or
more, you will find this book helpful in your certification studies.
