1) disable UAC on Vista
2) extract .rar archive to NORMAL/SHORT PATH , somewhere like D:Games
3) run setup.bat
4) follow on-screen instructions

1) run delete_game_from_registry.reg file
2) delete \"Tomb Raider - Underworld\" folder

Here is how to patch the game:
the update looks for a folder named Tomb Raider:Underworld.if your game is in any kind of subfolder, such as C:\tomb raider underworld_full rip_skullptura\tomb raider underworld,move it so it isn't.so it ends up C:\Tomb Raider Underworld, or whatever drive you have it on. or, simply extract it there to begin with
open regedit. there are a couple ways to get there. if you don't know, maybe you better stop right here.
navigate to HKEY/LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE/CRYSTAL DYNAMICS/TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD and edit the \"installpath\" key to match where the game is.that means NO subfolders.
this is true for most, if not all, of skullptura's and other rips.the reg key HAS to look like a legit install or patches won't work. otherwise,to the patch, it appears as if the game is not installed at all.
replace the .exe with the original that skullptura provided, and run the patch. replace the .exe with an updated one, that's it.
