Some people had some problems installing this amazing software. I was a lucky one who had no problems at all! 
But setup may fail under some conditions and here comes another solution for all of them! 
This is for those who still had problems. If your copy is running ok do not try this!

All files were checked against viruses with Kapersky Antivirus!
Follow very carefully these instructions in order to get things right!
1. Uninstall the previous version of diskeeper.
2. Make a folder called "Diskeeper Corporation" in C:/Program Files/, inside "Diskeeper Corporation" make another folder - "Diskeeper".
3. Copy the license.dal file inside Diskeeper folder and make license.dal file read-only.
4. Extract the contents from Diskeeper2008_ProPremier.exe using winrar (right click Diskeeper2008_ProPremier and select extract here!).
5. After extracting x64, x86 and Autorun, copy these files to "Diskeeper" folder.
6. Click on Autorun.exe to install diskeeper.
7. You MUST ensure that the dkservice process is NOT running (to stop dkservice just launch task manager, select it and click on end process).
8. Vista users have to disable User Account Control before using the fix.
9. To disable UAC, go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control On or Off and uncheck "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer."
10. Click on OK.
11. Restart the PC (for Vista users only).
12. Now run Dk07reg.exe (dexter's fix) and wait till the mouse pointer vanishes.
If you have already disabled UAC, just skip steps 9-11.
This fix will freeze the 30 days trial period enabling you to use it for unlimited days!
P.S. Works on Windows XP and Vista.

| Very nice.The step 7 and 12 work in directory services restore mode (Safe Mode) by starting computer and pressing F8 key repeatedly.Well if it shows activation days left 29 then again repeat step 7&12 with 100% success. |

| Thanks.It works.If you are having problem please go to Directory Services Restore Mode.Uninstall diskeeper and follow the instructions.Use WINRAR to extract files directly to diskeeper folder.When asked for registration select later on.Place DK07 on desktop and follow the instructions.It will work and when again asked to register select never register. |

You are very right, redando. This fix does not work.
If you want to use the latest version of Diskeeper that works then try Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier 11.0.686 Winx86.exe. It comes with a patch (Diskeeper 2007 V11 Patch.exe) and a Licence.dal file that extends its life for thirty days at a time.

Thanks for the effort. I followed the instructions very carefully .. twice, but it did not work for me.
Got to find me another program to defrag. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded 30% (7.8 megs) in 100 minutes but have already uploaded 22 mb. My ratio currently is 2.854.
Download speed is almost next to nothing.
You haven't crossed the 30 day period yet so how are tou so sure it will work after that? May be it does work because of certain new features included in the setup instruction that I had not seen earlier.
