Chelsea Grin - Self Titled EP
This band comes from Salt Lake City,Utah.They are literally a young band, ages 16 - 18.
They have a good potiential ahead of them from the sound of this EP.Chelsea Grin carves a nitch for themselves in the genre of brutal deathcore,death metal,deathgrind,and grindcore with their explosive sound and slam worthy tempos.
They have played with bands such as,NORMA JEAN,BENEATH THE MASSACRE,
THE TONY DANZA TAPDANCE,BORN OF OSIRIS,CARNIFEX,and more.
Review:
As I hear this band and try to write a review, I have to say,
I'd like to see future releases from this band.
They have a nice tight brutal slamming sound,at times blast beat and other times just nice and moshy rythmic patterns,vocals are from guttral to high screaming but fits really well with their style.
Fans of grind,grindcore,deathcore,and deathmetal will like this.
