Duke on Irakin sodan veteraani, joka on ehtinyt jo piipahtaa vankilassa. Nyt hän
tekee hanttihommia ja elää ehdonalaisessa tyttöystävänsä Amberin kanssa. Nuoret
asuvat latinojengin naapurissa ja saavat alituiseen kärsiä jengiläisten
kiusasta. Eräänä iltana Duke saa tarpeekseen ja hankkii aseen. Hän marssii
jengin talolle, mutta perillä odottaa yllätys. Konnat on tapettu ja paikalla on
kassillinen rahaa. Duke nappaa rahat ja lähtee Amberin kanssa kohti parempaa
elämää. Rahojen perään lähtee myös kiero huumeviraston agentti apureineen.
Pikkubudjetin leffa kulkee sujuvasti. Yleisilme on hieman realistisempi kuin
yleensä, mikä on plussaa sekin. Poistettujen kohtausten joukosta löytyy
