h33t - Becoming The Archetype - Discography (2005 - 2007) [rockbox]

This Band Are Typical Of Modern Metalcore, they dip there toes into many different genres of metal but dont fully commit to any. I would say it they are ambitious and push towards an epic style. They will remind you of many bands for the duration of there 2 albums but dont keep 'ripping off' any particular band off for more than 30 or so seconds and are accomplished musicians. They do lean towards american influences mainly with a more european sound present in the more progressive aspects of their music. overall the records are solid and the band favour a mid-paced feel for the most part. Becoming The Archtype should appeal to most Metalcore fans and the only point of critisism i can think of myself would be a bit more tempo and time signature changes, but that is me being a bit picky. Recommended If you like your metalcore free of clean vocals with an epic feel. Maybe Fans of All Shall Perish will enjoy BTA. That said the
second album comes with the odd clean
vocal section and BTA have been listening to 'my arms your hearse'- 'deliverance'-era Opeth I would imagine
