One day the skies opened up and god chose 5 righteous dudes to start a metal band. He said unto them, "Go forth, and create music so brutal that the balls of Satan himself, shall burst!" and then god uttered, "Thou shalt do work!" With these words Murder in Greenwich (pronounced: gren-itch) was born.
Murder In Greenwich is a death-core band from the Amish county area of Lancaster county, PA. Formed together from a combination of past local bands in the Lancaster area from Hardcore, Metal and Rock. Influenced by the brutal hard hitting metal and hardcore scene of bands like All Shall Perish, Rose Funeral, Underneath The Gun, Emmure, and so on... Murder In Greenwich is the perfect combination of hard hitting heavy breakdowns and death-metal riffs. Thus known as DUTCH COUNTY DEATHCORE[
Murder In Greenwich also know as "MIG" was a Death-core band based out of the suburban area of Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Formed from a combination of past local bands ranging from metal, hardcore, and rock. Influenced by the brutal metal and hardcore scene of bands like Meshuggah, Whitechapel, Suicide Silence, Emmure, and so on. In early 2007 MIG was created to put aside mainstream metal and take a different approach by bringing the brutal side of Lancaster out. Starting off in 2007 with a "Garage band" demo MIG was quick to jump for the big time studio. And in February of 2008 released there album entitled "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and licensed it with Romulus X Records. Just when the album was at its peak MIG's line-up started to fall apart. Jason and Chris tried to keep the band alive by re-forming the line-up, but fell short because they could not find dedicated members to keep the band going. This band has changed the lives for all its members. Accomplishing so many goals they never dreamed would happen. We are thankful for every fan that supported us along this road.
