| yes you absolutely can you will need to use higher temperatures in the reflux column it can be adapted to many purposes. The one I built in college was a miniature ethanol plant. It will make you some damn good pure drinking water. The one I built is almost alll stainless steel because one of my trades is a stainless steel TIG welder and I could do it cheeply. The book will give you alot of Ideas if you haven't read it all yet |

We are on well water here in Wyoming and have been using Sears Kenmore distillers for years. The sediment left behind from a processed gallon of water is just plain revolting. I wonder or maybe you all would know could I use this home built device just to distill well water? I imagine it is the same principle wouldn't it be? I'm not much of a brew drinker anymore since I dang near died on Tequila years ago.
