Propellerhead Reason 4.0 Information:

Propellerhead Reason 4.0 is the equivalent to having
a rack full of hardware samplers, synthesizers, sequencers and effect
units. It is an all in one rock solid and
fully self contained solution for sampling
and synthesis. Reason Is NOT an Audio
Editor, Plug-In Host or Recording Application but instead fully integrates into any 3rd Party DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) through a very useful go
between devolped by Propellerhead called
Rewire and Most Major DAW's on the market support Rewire for this very Reason (no pun intended). Reason is perhaps used most by Drum & Bass
producers in conjuction with a seperate
DAW or Audio Editor (Sony's Sound Forge
& Steinberg's WaveLab seem the most
popular for audio editing among the D&B
producers negating the need for a full blown DAW application). If you intend to add extra electronic elements into your Rock/Mettle then Reason is the perfect solution. If you intend to only create Electronic Music then Reason Is the perfect solution. Personaly i use Reason
in conjuction with Digidesign's Pro Tools
M-Powered, Ableton Live and Renoise (A Tracker Application), but its flexability will allow you to use it in which
ever way you want to.

Ive also included a special issue of 'Computer Music Magazine' called 'The Complete Guide To Reason 4' which is in PDF format and Includes a DVD which contains everything you need to follow the contents of PDF. This will be a godsend to new user's of Reason and also to user's like myself for getting to grips with the many new features which
Version 4.0 of Reason contains.

What is in the Reason package?
When you purchase Reason, the package contains the following items:
D The Reason 4 DVD.
This disc contains the main Reason program installer and the Reason Factory Sound Banks, two
large files containing samples, patches and loops for use with Reason. These are copied to your hard
disk the first time you launch Reason. In addition, the DVD contains
documentation in Adobe Acrobat format, and an installer for Adobe Acrobat Reader.
D The printed documentation.
D The product authorization card. (Not In This Package)
This contains the license number required for the installation. Keep this card in a safe place, in case
you need to re-install Reason! (KEYGEN)
