It all started with boys from a band Product of Rage. After the completion of Product’s Myphenomenon record things began falling apart in the band. Some members were not that much into the business anymore and so a creative brake was in place. During that period the boys were each working in their own directions. Ville rehearsed a few times with a band called Dii Maiores, but didn’t find the band to be for him. Ristomatti had been, in his twisted mind, creating a vision of a new project. This would gather all the members of the late Product of Rage, excluding two - the singer and second guitarist. When the idea was promoted to the rest of the guys, under slight influence of legal substances, the idea sounded great, even the next morning. There were already some existing songs, and so the guys asked Antti to join the ranks to bring some color and life to the sound. The only missing part was the vocalist; fortunately Ville had Mikko up his sleeve whom he had found from Dii Maiores. The man attended the band rehearsals on a few occasions to get a touch of it, and after a moment of consideration the rest of the guys decided that Mikko “Allu” Ahlfors was quite a potential vocalist. Thus, he was enlisted. Hitherto, the winds of luck have been blowing to the sails of Manufacturer’s Pride. The band signed a contract with Finnish Off Records and the debut album is well on the way, with a music video to be added on the pile of bones. Stay with us for more excitement! The band is a compilation of six individuals working towards a common goal which is embodied in the Manufacturer's Pride. The creation saw first light in the early 2006, and has since produced a couple of promo CD's and a full length album " Faustian Evangelion (2007)" which has been complimented by many Finnish reviews. The music combines occasionally progressive death metal riffs and futuristic computed sounds harmonically weaved into a whole. The vocals bring forth aggression and clean notes to add more depth and to complement the rich melodic atmosphere. Manufacturer's Pride is an ambitious musical mechanism aiming higher than the average consumer oriented product maker. Compromise is not an end to any means, and nothing needs to be settled on. As a band Manufacturer's Pride is not trying to re-invent the wheel but rather give the listener a bit different perspective on metal music and broaden the accustomed boundaries.
