ELCOMSOFT Proactive System Password Recovery v5.5 [h33t] [Original]
ELCOMSOFT Proactive System Password Recovery v.5.53 - (PSPR; former Advanced Windows Password Recovery) is a program to recover most types of Windows passwords:
- Windows 95/98/ME logon password (when user is logged on).
- Windows NT4/2000 logon password (when user is logged on and has Admin privileges).
- EFS (Encrypting File System) on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista NTFS partitions.
- Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista auto logon password.
- .NET Passport password.
- SYSKEY startup passwords.
- passwords stored in Domain Cached Credentials.
- Wireless (WEP and WPA-PSK) encryption keys (if stored with WZC).
- Windows XP stored user passwords (multiple credentials).
- screensaver password.
- RAS and dial-up passwords.
- passwords to VPN (Virtual Private Network) connections.
- passwords and access rights to shared resources.
- Windows Vista compatibility.
Note: most features of ELCOMSOFT Proactive System Password Recovery require Administrator privileges. If you do not have them, or if Administrator's password is lost, forgotten or expired, or if Administrator's account is locked or disabled, it is suggested to use Elcomsoft System Recovery, a bootable CD or USB flash drive that can reset or change passwords to any user accounts (including Administrator's one), enable/unlock disabled/locked accounts, dump password hashes into the text file (for further audit/recovery with Proactive Password Auditor) and more.
