Win4Lin is Windows for Linux. This small program allows windows 2000/xp to be installed on your linux box inside the X windows environment.

It simply boots up a bootable cd/dvd inserted into the machines drive and installs your chosen os.
once installed a shortut (link) appears on your x windows desktop to run the os in a window.

Ideal for the users of linux that want to tatally get away from installing windows as there primary operating system, but still need the functionallity of windows for that paticular piece of software that has not been ported to linux.

This torrent contains the following packages:

win4linpro_6.3.5-01_amd64.deb - for debian and amd64 CPU.

win4linpro_6.3.5-01_i386.deb - for debian Intel CPU.

Win4LinPro-6.3.5-01.x86_64.rpm - for RPM Intel64 based systems.

the individual packages are only 3.7 - 4mb in size.

Install Notes
when you have installed your RPM or Deb package make sure you log in as root and run :
/opt/win4linpro/bin/ask_license.sh
This will install the supplied key and activate the full product.
There are help files and manual included in the RPM and DEB installs. Usually located under the accessories menu.
