didnt work, ive got xp on hd0 and vista on hd1. same hd different partition's.
on another note i fucked the vista bootmgr, had to use bootrec /fixboot to resolve just so i could get back in the os.
any recommendations appreciated.

| That is correct, only on x64 (server) architecture can windows see anything more than 3.25 GB of RAM, of course on most computers having that much RAM is useless unless it is all the same speed (5300+), in dual-channel mode, and utilizing an active cooling solution. I run 3GB on my most machines all with PC6400 speed and I fly through most apps in both xp, vista, mac and linux. |

| You may be using Vista 32 bit or x86 that are the same. 32 bit Windows OS only sees about 3 GB of RAM memory because of its internal architecture. Only 64 bit or x64 Windows OS can see more RAM. |
